Jute twine

Post by Kcoffey89 » Sun Oct 12, 2014 4:08 pm

Hello,

I bought 100% organic jute twine at the dollar general and I was just wondering if it's crab safe. ive read that you definetly don't want to use the one with a heavy oil type smell. The kind I purchased doesn't have this strong odor only a fabric type smell; which isn't very noticeable. Is it ok?

Can you look up the brand or anything? I don't think we can be sure without knowing all the details!

I'm pretty sure it's completely safe. Hemp too. Keep an eye out for molding though. :)

You can soak it in salt water first to combat the mold!
