It might be too late for your little guy, and I'm sorry about that. He doesn't have very many legs, does he? Poor thing.

One thing I noticed is that while you have a lot of shells, you don't have many of the types that Purple Pinchers favor and the couple you do have seem way to big and heavy for your little one. Can you quickly get more turbo shells in a variety of sizes?

In my 55 gallon tank with 6 crabs, I have about 100 shells and probably 90 of them are turbos of some sort. I throw a few oddballs in for variety but mostly I stick to the type of shell I know PP's favor.

Mool, not sure if you are referring to my crab or hers but mine has all his legs...he's just tiny and the shell he came from is the type that I have most of...he has more to choose from that was a pic from a few weeks ago, Ive gotten more since...it was just an example of what I do to show her how I have been successful in getting him back in a shell...thanks for the advise though.

I have been trying to find more shells that my big guy would like, The rest of my guys are little. I have pleanty of good shells for the little guys. It doesnt matter much now anyways. Im sad to say, my big guy didnt make it.

that's great! Mine isn't so popping lol...one just came up from a molt a few days ago so I try to stay up to see him and the other...my nudist...he's still a little slow...he was naked all day today...again. He finally got in a new shell! So praying this is the last time! Fingers crossed!
