Awww, he's so cute! I think you should go with boulder as his name because you can preserve your other crab, Rocky's name by slightly changing the name but still sticking to the 'rock' theme that you have.

There’s nothing we can do now, thanks for your immediate help care.

I’ll visit the pet store today, pick up a big dude, and straighter everything up. Stella has never stolen a shell off of a crab, she’s stolen shells that were once occupied by.
Okay, sorry, I must have been thinking about someone else! I'm really sorry for your loss!

Don't forget to dip the new crab into the fw of the crabitat.
Do I use the water I already have? Is that what you mean?
Or do I make a new batch, and swish him in it.
You dip him in the fw of the crabitat so he smells like the crabitat and not like an intruder :)
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com

That is a really neat idea! I'll consider it.

I've got six shells for the new dude, and he's hunkering down behind my driftwood in there, so I cannot see him today. Hope he decides to move about.
His body is about an inch, but I'll have to print and laminate the hermit crab size chart.
