HELP! New Crab Owner.. Need advice/instruction

Hi mom2myrugrats! All of your crabbies are Purple Pinchers. The last one is a little pale but some are like that. One way to improve their color is to feed them foods high in carotene such as carrots, spinach, watercress, sweet potato and mangoes. IMO, bottled water is not really good for them. Some bottled water still has chlorine in it, and when they purify it it takes out all of the essential nutrients they need. Tap water with declorinator is best. There is a great site located here http://epicureanhermit.com which can help you out on their diet. Oh, and make sure to provide them with lots of natural shells. The painted ones are just not good for them. Welcome to the club and if you have any more questions feel free to ask!!
