Hi Cuddles & Rocko ,
Just reading your posts I noticed you mentioned something about salt water and where to get it from. If you haven't any,it would be a really good idea to get some anyway asap, because all crabs need not only fresh water to drink, but they need salt water to drink/bathe in as well.
Salt water can be made up either by using aquarium salt (never table salt) in dehlorinated water,or because you live near the ocean,if the area's clean and non polluted, sea water is an excellent option to use in a dish for crabs to bathe in .
which sand is the best??

I use a mix of EE and sand. 90% EE and I really like it. I haven't seen any mold growth since I started misting with salt water. I haven't had bugs either but I set mine up during the winter so I will soon find out. So when I set up my larger tat I am going to use EE that I expanded with saltwater.
Hermiegirl: What were you thinking? Why would you look in the bathroom section for things for the bathroom? The more logical place to look is in the hardware section by the tools. [smilie=dunno.gif] Sorry I had to poke fun at Walmart. I hate shopping there and that is one of the reasons why.
