You haven't discouraged me in the least! I've slowly been building up my supplies. I'm working on a "custom built" enclosure as we speak, but money has always been tight and I have to pace myself. I'm hoping to make a large enough enclosure that's beautiful and practical but it'll take time. Meanwhile, I've been on Craigslist to see if hermit crabs pop up. No luck with that. Chances are, since I'd be a new owner, I probably wouldn't be able to adopt since experience is usually required. One day, though! Hopefully by my birthday.

I'm so glad to hear about Eugene. As much of a rollercoaster that it's been for you, the result has to be much sweeter. I hope to see more threads of Eugene and the others in the future :)
