The Pet Shop Mesa has STRAWS!

Post by LucasBinx » Sun Oct 26, 2014 12:20 am

For anyone in the Phoenix area, The Pet Shop Mesa in Mesa, AZ just got straws in. I've been dying to add them to my collection, but sadly don't think I have room... But announcing it anyway to anyone interested~

They're 12.99

I'm very surprised myself that they had them. This is the first time I've ever seen them sold in Arizona myself. I told myself I wouldn't get them, but ended up getting two today. They are gorgeous~

I would definitely suggest finding local pet stores or reptile shops on Facebook and liking their page. That's how I discovered this place had them in Stock. Or check reptile shows if possible

Hah well thank YOU then! I didn't think they were going to have so many when I showed up. There had to have been at least 15

Hey, nice to meet fellow Arizonans! I live in Mesa and never even thought of The Pet Shop for crabbies :o ! All of mine over the years have come from PetSmart. No room for any new guys right now but good to know about that source.

One of the great aspects of The Pet Shop is that they actually listen to their customers! I gave them suggestions for their hermit set-up, and the next time I came in it was completely redone with both my advice and their research online! :D

Wow  ! I'll definitely have to stop by there. Much rather patronize a local operation than one of the chains, if at all possible, and dealing with people who actually know something about the creatures they sell would be a treat! I also have mice and have gotten them over the years from both Petco (never, never, never again) and PetSmart -- at least at PetSmart they have a bit of a clue about mice and have always listened, with real interest, when I've provided a bit of info they didn't know (i.e., female mice should always be in at least trios, not duos, and should never, ever be alone as they can literally die of loneliness). Hopefully, they'll remember and pass the info on to the next adopters.

I didn't know that about mice gals! I'm always interested in learning new facts about animals, and I hope that's a habit chain stores start hiring for soon!
