Coco-fiber climbing mat...
I have some leftover and am looking for some ideas -- got any cool, unconventional, ideas of what to do with the mat? I think I read somewhere on here where someone turned theirs into a tunnel. I originally used it to weave in between the rungs of a bird ladder for climbing....but I still have some left and will be setting up the new tat over the next few days/weeks.

I don't know how much you have left but I always wanted to make this cool climb hide thing. Roll up the mat and then cut it in little 3" (whatever you want really you can vary the size to make room for bigger crabs.) pieces so you have a bunch of little logs of matting. Then zip tie them together and hang against a wall. Here is a super awesome drawing to help visualize lmao.

I figured it's a multi story hide lol

Very clever, Ryry! I'll have to remember this when I eventually get a taller tank -- there's not much room for a whole lot beyond the basics in a 10g with 6" of substrate. At least my guys seem happy with their decor of climbing net, vines and hanging shell shop and moss pit...no complaints yet, not even from King Felix!

Wow, that's very cool! I'm guessing the tunnels/tubes wouldn't have to be very long, just enough to make it interesting.....very neat idea.
I think I should buy stock in companies that sell zipties - I'm using a TON of those these days!

Same here! I'll post a better pic when I invest in a mat and make my own lol.
