Oh gosh! That shell is a funny story. It was when I was first trying to measure shells for my crab, and I ordered a shell so big my crab could live in it. I put it in the tank as decor and my crab walked up to it and started looking in it then turned around like, "You trying to say I'm fat or something!?!" hahaha. I eventually got a ton of correct sized shells for them as you can see in the bag :)

Lol that's too funny! When I started I had a bunch of decorative shells and I tossed a few in. This one used to be Squirts favorite chill spot. Image

Aww! That's cute as heck! I love it when they find their own personal hidey huts/places.

This was a decorative shell. Image

He finally changed into this. Image

I removed the "decorative" shell.

Lemonade, what's the cave thing on the left of the 20? Looks like you're making progress. :)

Can I ask why? I like to keep a few oddball shells in there. If they wear them, great! If not, no loss (I didn't buy them).

He couldn't bury it in. Or at least it seemed that way. He was so wide he had trouble fitting inside the cork rounds or other hides. He changed out of it immediately once the new larger shells went in. I think he was only in it because it was the biggest in there. I have murexs and whatnot in the tank but the fusi shell made life difficult for Thor. Plus I am a pain in the butt.

It's a corner hide that they have at petsmart for reptiles and such. I usually stuff it with coconut fiber, or put a mini moss pit in there and they love it.

It looks neat! I'll have to keep an eye out for it next time I'm at PETsMART. :D

Oh yeah, I've seen that hide at Petsmart before. I might just get one, it would go nicely in the back right corner :)
