Rustolem leak seal

Has anyone ever used this product to waterproof things in the tat? How did the crabbies deal with it?Image

I would strongly suggest AGAINST using this in your tat. I would use aquarium silicone or 100% silicone, both are safe. However, they do need to gas off before the tank is put back together and crabs are placed in the tat. If salt fish keepers wouldn't use it in their tanks, it is suggested that you don't use it in your tats. This is just my opinion however. Hope this helps. :)

The MSDS states it contains petroleum products, is carcinogenic to humans, and has caused organ damage in animal studies. Like happycrabbymama says, you'd definitely be better off using something else. Rust-oleum generally makes some pretty nasty products.
