finally!!

I don't know where to put this but AHHHHHH I'm so excited!! my trouble crab finally changed out of her stupid painted shell after over a YEAR.
i've had the same (natural) shells as this one of almost every size (including the EXACT size as this one) but she never wanted to change. the other crab my mom got me with her changed after a couple weeks when I gave them natural shells and even a new one I bought that came with a natural shell changed before her.

it was even painted on the inside poor baby.
she always digs down during the day (especially now, having heat pad troubles but the new one is on the way) so I have no idea what she's in now but I can't WAIT to find out what it is I never thought I would be this excited about a crab changing shells

Awesome! Crabs are really picky and finicky about their shells. Probably afraid that if she changed out of her current shell then someone else would take it and she'd be stuck with a possibly inferior in size shell.

well if that's the case she wasn't wrong. I snatched that thing out of there as soon as I saw it! but tonight I'm going to boil it and hope I can get the paint off of it so if she wants she can have it back. I've gotten it off of one shell so far so I'm hoping this one is put on there the same way.
