According to the book I have:"A hermit crab's urinary bladders are located at the base of each antennule [the smaller ones just beside the eyes]. You are unlikely to notice your crab's urine because the amount produced is very small. In addition, some of the waste is given off as ammonia gas."-Hermit Crabs: A Complete Pet Owner's Manual

What about poop? Do they have to pop out of their shell to poop? Where does that come from? (I can't believe I just asked that) lol

Nope, they poop out the end of their abdomen and into their shells. They are quite maneuverable in there, and they use their abdomen to scoop it out of the shell. They wo't leave their shells to poop, though. It's too dangerous

They don't pee out of the tips of the antennae. The area that they urinate from is at the base of the antennules.

-sigh- hermit crabs, like crayfish and most other crustations have organs called "green glands" they function basicly like our kidneys but are located above the mouth and esogaphus and below the brain. they secrete -in very small ammounts- any non-solid, liquid waste.. basicly, peeing. their solid waste is excreted from an anus at the end of the abdomon inside the shell, they use their smaller legs to move it out of the shell.
