Molly was my seventh crab, and of those only three are alive. I think she tried a surface molt and failed, but I am not sure. She didn't seem dead until I looked closely and saw bugs in her shell. I have gotten four of my crabs from Petsmart, and only one of them is alive. But he might also be dead because he has been buried for almost two months and is a small. I am heartbroken. I am not EVER going to buy anoter crab at petsmart unless it is a very rare circomstance. They are all dying, and I ca't do anything to stop it. I have posted about my tank, my conditions, and nothing seems to be wrong with it. I am so sorry all of you that have passed, and I am sorry Molly. I might be done with buying hermit crabs for a while. i have three at the moment, and I am fervently hoping that they live. . .
