Equadoriun changing shells alot

Is it normal for an Ecuadorian to wear one shell during the day and a completely different shell at night.
Rose wears a faded green turbo during the day. Then at night she switched to a beautiful Babylonian shell. When I got her she was in a painted Babylonian. Then her first shell change was to a green turbo. Now she is switching back and forth between the two types.

Equadorians prefer modified shells. They usually have their abdomen tucked up close to them when they carry their shell. She could either be modifying them, or doesn't really like either of them 100%. They really love "D" type shells. Turbos are not typical for e's. I'll attach the preferred shell list for you - try to get more of what ecquadorian's like. Not very many people carry modified shells. I think Alaska Hermit does when she has them in stock.

I have plenty of d shaped shells. I have whales eyes, shark eyes and Babylonians. She switches back and forth between the two. I just don't know why

Maybe she is modifying them

I guess that's possible. When she's wearing the Babylonian she doesn't move around very much. She gets food and water and then sits somewhere for the remainder of her time in the shell
