is my crab molting?

Post by Puoyo » Tue Sep 19, 2017 8:36 pm

Today I found a little tunnel underneath the fresh water bowl, Shelldon was down there, and when I saw him, his colors were a bit odd and he barely moved, he was slightly sticking out of his shell, too. He's been down there for a month, the moment I realized it was him I put the water bowl down right away, will he be okay?

Sounds like he's probably molting. As long as u didn't pick him up he should be ok. Just let him do his thing. :)

Also, as hard as it may be, don't try to disturb him too often as well! When moulting, they normally prefer to have some 'me time' and appreciate the space.
