I have tiny white dots crawling in my tank. The can climb glass and even climb upsidedown to get out of the tank lid.
They are white, tiny like a little bigger then a grain of sand.
Easily 50 of these super tiny things
Id take a photo but they look like dust and camera wont focus on something that small.
I have 3 purple pinchers in an 11gallon tank and they have food rotated everyother day and a water fountain that is drained weekly. The dirt is about 80% fine coconut fibers and 20% Fluckers hermit crab mix.
I introduced about 30 pill bugs about 3 months ago and maybe 10-15 are alive (easily visible)

Either springtails or food mites... either way, they harmless and good as a clean up crew.

They won't survive outside of the crabitat - they need humidity. Try not to worry!
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com
