Question for the more experienced crabbers; assuming conditions are optimal, how many crabs might I expect to make it to jumbo? Like, how many out of 10 would you say?
Of course I recognize there is a lot of chance involved but I’m just looking for an educated guess.

Re: Jumbos
Expect some losses in the first few years, but if they are PPs, then any that survive past that should keep going for a decade or two. Molting accidents (or purposeful attacks) between crabs are the biggest worry and not something that can be anticipated.
