Fantasy habitat
If size, temp and humidity were not an issue, what ideas do you have to create a fabulous habitat for your crabs?
Im building a large enclosure (36 x 18 x 60 tall). I also have 20 pairs of hands who are excited to create some DIY features.
Currently we have the bottom level with 10in substrate and a large salt water pool with filter/waterfall. There is space here to have lots of hiding places and climbing and a ramp to the second level.
On the second level, there will be a filtered freah water pool, a little "field" to periodically plant sprouts and then lots more climbing opportunities.

I would fill my entire house with sand and become one with my crabs.

Haha, the prospect of several months in darkness "sleeping" does sound amazing! Lol!

Imagine the awesome tunnels and hidey holes you could make.

Re: Fantasy habitat
Honesty, it would be the tank I have now but bigger. Allows me more room for the saltwater pool (can properly illuminate it and grow corals/algae with better success), bigger freshwater pool, more climbing areas (caves, they love their caves) and deeper substrate. Also more areas for plants.
