Commercial Store source for shells
Hello, we just got a pack of 12 assorted size shells for our new crabbies and they are 1) not the sizes specified and 2) do not have round holes like illustrated in the advert. Can anyone recommend a big box store or chain or local (we are in Lexington, Kentucky) shop where we can actually look at the shells and pick what we want/need? Also, we only had them for an hour before they dug down and we haven't seen them since so we do NOT have an actual measurement of their claws or current shell openings. Any suggestions on how to gauge?

Hi!
I get all of my shells online from Naples, and have never had any problems with them. I just got a big order from them a few weeks ago. I checked all the sizes when they came in and everything was perfect.

If your guys already buried themselves, I don't think there's a way to measure unless you just guess. It might be better to measure each crab as they come up, and then place an order.
