Springtails vs Isopods?

Post by Coco_Hermies » Fri Aug 13, 2021 4:28 am

Hi everyone,

I’m keen to get a clean up crew going for my crabitat and I’ve read about both springtails and isopods. In your experience is there one that’s better? I’m not sure which one to purchase.

Thanks in advance :)

If you just want one, then I strongly suggest springtails. They go mostly unnoticed but eat everything unwanted including mold and poop. I seed every enclosure I start with springtails.

Awesome, I’ve just ordered some Image Thank you!
I also worry about isopods overbreeding.
