I bought this heat mat: https://a.co/d/3kby3p8
It doesn't have any adhesives. I've tested it and it seems to work well, but I'm not sure how to attach it to my tank safely. Is this a usable mat, and what's the best way to attach it? I was thinking about mounting it inside the tank but I haven't seen anyone doing that?
Thank you!

No, don't put it inside the tank! You can attach it to the outside of the back or side of the tank with duct or electrical tape.

Re: Questions about Vivohome brand heat mat
I would start by just taping around the sides of it. I'm honestly not sure if that type of mat can be insulated or not. Insulating over a mat that isn't meant to be, is a fire hazard. What is your current tank temperature without the heat mat?
