Small crab molting

Post by br00kex33 » Mon Jun 24, 2024 3:01 pm

Hey guys! I have a small crab who has been down since April 30th… is this normal or should I be worried? I’m assuming he’s molting but my bigger crab went down around the same time and is already back up he was only under about 3 weeks. Any info is appreciated!

Generally being gone for months on end is a red flag, especially if they’re small. You’re sure it has never resurfaced?

Generally after four months it’s safe to assume them deceased

I have a camera so I know he hasn’t been up :( When do I go digging? Should I give it 2 more months?

Just wanted to post an update- my crab was in fact just molting and came up a couple of nights ago!
