Hi xD I'm Arei and I just joined here (finally, after having tons of registering problems), I'm also sort of new to the crab scene, I've only had 2 of them since feburary (Hans and Edward) and one of them since last month (Chikage). I love them x3 They're so fun to watch and play with.
But they strike me as a bit odd, unless they just go back and forth between shells, I have yet to see them change shells (maybe they dont like the ones i have out for them? i should get more then maybe). I dont know if its they just dont like the other shells or they dont plan on leaving their shells till they outgrow them.

try getting shells in types similar to what they are wearing. but some won't chane no matter how many shells you provide! I have about 10 for my Big 'un and counting, but he has never changed in the year i've had him.
