Maple Syrup?

I was just wondering if pure maple syrup (from pesticide-free trees) would be ok to give to hermies as a once in awhile treat. If they can have honey and they can eat maple leaves then I'm wondering if a little maple sugar would be ok. Anyone know?

Pure maple syrup is okay as a treat. I've used it before when I was out of honey for a molter.

Thanks!!!! I tried out some maple syrup for my guys last night and it is the only thing I have given them that has totally disappeared from the food bowl! I guess they like it!
