How long can a teeny go without molting?

2 of my teenies, Holly & Crosby, haven't molted in a while (at least 6 months), and just won't dig down! What's wrong?

Some crabs just don't like molting, I suppose. I have a couple of smalls that molt maybe twice a year. I guess it just depends on the crab.

Yes, it's very odd.

They are still active and everything, they just won't go down and STAY down. My rug, Royal, FINALLY dug down, hopefully he'll start a trend with the other teenies!

I've got a couple of smalls who just love to dig, but they will never pull a molt while they are under. :roll: We just have some silly crabbies.

That is one good thing about have 22 crabs. You never really notice who is actually missing.
