You are better off to find some "L" brackets from lowes or home depot and use some outdoor 3m double sticky tape. I have done that with all my levels and not one has failed in a year.Knock on wood.
I even have a huge 2nd level with EE in it holding it up.

Take some silicone and put a bead around it if you have any worries.
