If you do, how many, what type and what is the biggest challenge you face in getting them attached safely to your crabitat?
I use two on each of my tanks. One Night Glo that stays on all the time and a Sun Glo that I have on about 14 hours a day. The biggest problem I have is finding a safe place to attach the lights without creating escape routes for the crabbies. As evidenced by Tanks escape last week. So am I just an idiot who isn't doing it right or do others have the same problems?
Do you use clamp lights?

We tried to use 2 clamp lights for our 40B. They are made by Flukers I think. And the clamp part really sucks because it's not strong enough to hold the actual light. We ended up attaching a piece of scrap moulding to the back of the tank at the very top, to create a surface to attach the lights to. But they were never close enough to the tank to create enough heat. So we got a 3-light combo hood and that's infinitely better.
Now I use the 2 clamp lights for my 10g. I have the tank on my desk and a desk lamp next to it. I clamped both clamp-lights to the desk lamp, and during the day I turn on the day light and rotate the desk lamp so the clamp light faces the tank, then at night I turn on the moon-glow and swing that one towards the tank.
I'm not sure I'm describing this correctly, but I could add pictures if you want.
