Chowing on a Mussel

Post by soilentgringa » Fri Jun 17, 2016 1:15 am

Heather found some freeze dried blue mussels on clearance at the pet store.

We gave some to the cats and all the crabs.

This one was floating on top of the water and Roshi was straining to reach it. Heather reached in and pushed it down.

He snatched it from her fingers, hugged it to himself and spent over 3 hours eating it.

OMG!! Looks just like our first hermie, Kermie!!! :cloud9: We miss him so much! We accidentally brought him home with us from the beach - didn't realize he was hiding out in one of our shells - hence the beginning of our journey with hermies! He is adorable! We released Kermie back to his home with his clan but we think about him every day. Thanks for sharing!!!
