I'm sorry to hear about the 150g

I'm sure that's hard to let go of.
I've had my crabs in totes before and love them. Just like a tank it takes a bit of finesse but it's totally doable. 68L is about 18 gallons (according to Google) so I would think that's a bit small. I've done a 20g and a 40g. My crabs and I both enjoyed the 40g more. I'd take a look at dimensions when buying just to make sure you'll have enough room for sand and climbing space. When you get into the bigger totes (from what I remember... It was a while ago) they don't often come in clear which means you can't watch them like you do a tank. This was a drawback and got on my nerves but I knew the totes were temporary so I went for size. One plus side to that was that my crabs seemed to really come out of their shells (pun intended

) in the tote and I saw lots of action when I did want to see them. This of course horrified them when I moved them into the tank bc then I was able to see them all the time. All in all, I love tanks but I think my crabs loved the totes. They definitely have some advantages especially when it comes to moving.
