He's settling into the isolation tank pretty well. He was kept at around 74 degrees or so, and my main habitat stays about 80 in the middle of the tank, and quite a bit higher at the heat source. I don't wanna shock him, so I'm slowly warming the iso. But I dropped him right in to decent humidity, trying to avoid any further gill damage and so the little guy can
breathe.
When I looked in on him last night, he was chowing down on his food. I gave him a little bit of everything so he can "tank up" with whatever he wants before a molt. When he saw me, he picked up the dehydrated strawberry slice, shaped like a big red heart, and ran off. I guess he likes the strawberries.

But the heart shape has me tentatively settled on calling him Valentine. Plus his legs are really red, so it kind of works.
