Pretty Purple

My favorite PP Coco Puff, looking beautiful after her last molt! Her BP looks like amazing, the whole thing is this color purple, but of course she wouldn't let me get a good shot of it, it looks like a grape. Image

She's lovely! It never fails to amaze me the variety and depth of color they're capable of...well, all except my always-almost-white King Felix the Pale.
PPs are Big Enzo, Charles Paris and Mr Pinch
On the Big Beach in the Sky: Murray, Gino, Oscar, Gordon, Ignatz, Harry and King Felix the Pale

I am envious of your Felix, I would LOVE to have a white crab! This pic really doesn't do justice. I can spot her a mile away with this coloring. None of my other crabs are even close to this purple. It really is quit beautiful! :) I am on a mission to get a better pic showing her big "grape" pincher :D

Finally got a pic!! 5 or 6 of my other PPS were up last night and I noticed they are all turning really purple.. Not as bright as coco puff, but close. Super odd!

Coco Puff is beautiful! I have one crab that is deep purple, the other two are reddish orange with purple bp. All PPs!

haha your right, she does resemble an eggplant! Its so crazy, all of my PP's (in this tank only) have completely changed colors. They used to be all sorts of colors, everyone was different. But now they are all dark purple, some almost blue. Coco Puff has the most unique coloring, the others are all about the same. I am fairly certain It is diet that has made them all change to the same color. It is just so weird, like I have all new crabs! But at least they are beautiful and look very healthy! :wink:

I always get excited to see what colors the crabs will be when they get up from molting. I am always shocked.

So beautiful! My crabs are usually very red. I wonder why?
