Emergency!! Surface molter ripped out of shell

So glad to hear that he's okay! ! Sorry also for the odd side question. Do you remember at all what he was doing before you found him that way? I have a crab that I'm worried about and I'm afraid he may be surface molting. Just trying to gain as much info as possible. Thanks in advance!

He was under the log hide out when I went to change food and check on them. He is a kiddish so I didn't think anything of it and gently moved him to the other side of the tank so I didn't accidentally knock him into the sw pool. Then I heard Diesel up and checking out shells and went over and saw Kenny naked and Diesel was clinging to his shell, and Kenny on the other side clinging as well.

No one messes with Kennys favorite shell .

I'm going to search for more shells around Diesel's size and see if it's anything to do with that or if he was just thinking he could go after Kenny mid molt. Either way I have to address Diesel.

Update:

Diesel has dug down, and normally he doesn't. Which means he may be attempting to molt as well.

Pearl has dug, but she is a normal digger so I leave all tunnels alone and simply change food and water.

Kenny has been moved into the ISO seeing as though he is alone now and is more active. Color is back and 99% exo eaten. I wanted to give him more room, plus if the two are molting it is easier in my opinion to just put him in the ISO tank since he is awake and his buddies are exploring.

Diesel is in possible molt.
