Thank you Kermie! My order just came in this morning. She has a great deal with 14 bags for $12.50, which is what I got. The bags are a fairly nice size as well. My order got to me in just over a week (with USPS misplacing my package for a few days...) so that's a definite plus! I just put the food in a bit ago, no one is awake yet to touch it. I filled the calcium dish with the calcium mix, and put some of the nutty protein mix and apple mix in their bowl. I'll update you in the morning!
Sounds good! I'm gonna check out their store Image

So as title suggests this is a thread dedicated to just telling us about your crabs. What are their quirks? Favorite spots in the tank? Funny things that catch your eye. Anything Image oh and pictures are encouraged as well as just general crab awesomeness!

What's the beautiful green stuff under that level? And I love his shell, my crabs seem to like magpies and tapestry turbo shells. In the right corner of your tank where there is brown in the middle of the sub, is that a crab molting? And your cat is beautiful, I have three cats who I keep out of my bedroom, the one time I let Sheldon in her was all over the tank

I'm not completely shell literate, yet, but that was a recycled shell from another crab that's molting now. They seem to like it. That brown layer is me mixing some coconut fiber in with the sand, but I was only doing it in sections, because of the molters, lol. My cat is completely enthralled by them.

Random fact: Although called reindeer moss, it isn't really moss . It is a lichen, the result of a fungus colonizing a blue-green algae. (If I had to guess I'd say the brilliant green is a result of dye, I think it's naturally a beige-ey gray or whitish colour. I can look into it if anyone is curious.)

A jungle-gym-type thing, it's a fish tank ornament
