Busy little crabs
Somebody was really digging last night. You can't tell from this angle but there is a hole that goes under the water pool. And that is my crab Tiny to the left.

Including tiny nine. I have tiny, jimbo, herman, Jack, rose, Teal'C, and three unnamed. Jimbo and rose and one unnamed are currently molting. The rest are on the surface. Trying to adopt out five but no one replied on here or on Craigslist yet.

Re: Busy little crabs
They have also knocked down the Shell shop hammock again. Those suction cups really suck. I don't get paid until Friday though so I'm just going to have to deal with it until then.

Use command strips for hammock. I never could get those cups that came with it to stick.

Re: Busy little crabs
I am using this same reptile hammock and can't stand those suction cups either. I tried duct tape but the humidity loosens the tape. Just recently I took some Kinex building sticks from my kid's kit and built little poles to try to tape the hammock to them, but the poles are really wiggly and hermies don't like that.

Re: Busy little crabs
Command strips are basically hooks that attach to wall, glass, or plastic using double sided tape. When you want to remove them, just pull excess tab down and comes right off leaving no sticky residue or nail/tack holes in walls. You can find them in clear and white and in all sorts of sizes. They're located at Wal-Mart, Lowe's, dollar stores ... All in hardware section.

Re: Busy little crabs
*Avoid the ones with metal hooks as metal tends to rust with high humidity.

Re: Busy little crabs
I have some command hooks. The really tiny ones used for Christmas lights. I use them for the nets but they are too small for the hammock.
