Sweeeet!
I love the command hook anchoring the coconut moss pit... the Chola looks huge... it's just great.

Wow...well, at least you know the food is fresh. I guess if you figure you aren't the only one ordering, and then if they have to dehydrate the food...hmm...still shouldn't take that long. I don't know. I'm pretty patient for the most part, but twice, I'd be upset. Priority shipping is pricey. Your tank looks great! Very colorful and inviting! You have done a great job!

Thank you ladyjinglyjones that cholla is so great, all of their fav hiding spot and I got it at hobby lobby under 5 bucks!

Gotbutterflies I know, it's too expensive. I guess I'll just place one last order with everything I like in a few weeks(it's already in my cart and super expensive) and then just order other little things along the way else where. I really love the selections but the wait is killing me. I'm spoiled by Amazon prime I think lol. Thanks on my tank, now I'm working on my parents to let me get a bigger tank with a stand, cuz as long as I'm living under their roof, I live by their rules(as an adult parent who has lived in her own being back home has downfalls lol)

Image Bellatrix and Yeti loving the peanut butterImage huge hit, by the way Yeti was penny's original name(she is my daughter ashlyn's crab) I called her Yeti cuz she was yet to be named, then Ashie changed it to penny, and had now decided Yeti is the better name and we are switching back to Yeti

Bellatrix already digging new holes after redecoratingImage she was dragging a leaf down with her, hope it doesn't cause bugs

Image she is so Sandy you wouldn't even notice her if she hasn't peeked out to tell me to turn off that light

Image woke up to a cave in front of the tank(I turned off the flash on camera and took it far away in case it would harm) bellatrix hole is filled in now so I'll assume it's her. Since she just molted at most a month ago, should I be taping paper over the cave? I thought the purpose of covering then was so it stays dark so they can molt, abd I don't think she is molting, she was still hairy and had black tips?

I think u should be fine not to because if they need to molt and want the darkness, they will keep digging.

Oh...the great debate. I personally always cover these holes up with cardboard. It helps inhibit the molting hormone if it's necessary. To each's own.

Lol GB! Yes, always the debate! Even though I said it should be fine, all of my sub is covered in reflectix right now - mainly because of the weather but usually 3 out of 4 of the glass walls in general are always covered in reflectix

Well bellatrix came up from that hole to cause havoc with honey...lol I posted another thread about this.
Checked on Persephone tonight and I'm thinking she definitely molted, has that unique smell I've heard so much about, but it's faint. She still looks soft to me, but is eating peanut butter like crazy, as well as egg shells, worm castings, cuttlebone, bass, crab meat. I'm putting such small amounts in, and its basically gone so I know she is eating it. She is moving around fine and seems like herself from before she went down, hiding from me and fast. How long should I keep her in iso?

Yeti/penny is eating like crazy tonight, I love her, she is so outgoing and seems fond of me with no fear at all. I can sit right up on the glass and watch her eat and she just goes on about her business like it's normal for a big ugly head to stare at her.

Haven't seen Athena since the renewing of the decor and sub, but there is a hole under the rock cave I can see from the edge by the glass(can't see into a hole, just that there is one) so I'm assuming that's her, since Dixon is in his favorite hide-the cholla woodImage and notice bellatrix sleeping inside of a barnacle! They are so adorable

I was always partial to the name Yeti.

And the polished pica shell is dreamy.

I always loved Yeti, too, and she is my favorite crab, and she is in the most beautiful of all my shells.

I noticed tonight that they have eaten almost a whole barnacle off of my barnacle cluster. I didn't know they could eat that much so fast.
