Haha I know right? But I looked in this morning & he had changed back to the pearl striped again. That's the 3rd time he's changed since moving to the new tat. He can't make up his mind!!

Officially tagged Tank Trasher, aka Clare, (lol!). Holes dug everywhere, shells knocked down from the shell shack. See the Acurite thermometer/hygrometer on the right? I've had it for 2 weeks in the 20g temp tank while we move. Every day I was having to set it back upright. Today it is officially malfunctioning. The tank has been steady for 2 weeks now with temp and humidity so I'm gonna hold off on getting a new one until we are all moved in next week. I have an extra thermometer/hygrometer from reptile basics in the main tank anyway.

@Giner13 - gorgeous pics! Really dreamy colour pallet! :cloud9:

My kids are eating popcorn dusted with coconut flour. It was my first time popping corn in a pot since moving out of my parent's place, 8 years ago. It wasn't bad, and the crebs liked it. :)

I think Vegeta I'd down for the count... haven seen him in over a week. Everyone but Bede is slowing down. I spilled spirulina powder everwhere, so the crabs have a lot of that to enjoy.

Life is good at Château Creb. :D
"Gaze upon the rolling deep..."
Quince the fat tailed gecko; Amazonian minnows; and now Harry & Luis, Bede & Aster, Chandra & Jace, Pax, & Piccolo, my adopted PPs.
RIP Vegita :(

Spirulina is a blue-green algae supliment, relatively high in protein & known to enhance pigmentation. There is a slight risk of heavy metal contamination (but if seems less likely in human grade stuff). It's used in some comercial animal feed with reported increase in yields of whatever that aniMal is used for.

Hippies love it, so you can get it at a heath food dispensery. I think it's also supposed to contain natural oceanic iodine, but don't quote me on that - I can't remember.

I buy it in powder form & it is the worst for getting everywhere... it's a deep green & my vacuum cleaner has no real effect on it. :cwm21:

Another good molt! Image
I know painted shells are bad for them but this guy just won't leave it! Maybe now that he is to big for it he'll change!

It's so cool to watch them come out of the ground. Then to see their behavior afterwards, just "running" around the tank.

I know... it's so much fun to just watch them tearing it up... and Im pretty jelly that you got to actually watch yours come up through the sand - I usually find mine at random when they come up. :D

What kind is yours?
