It's so cute when they let you! He was on top of the cocohut so me and my bf thought why not lol! I haven't held him since basically when I first bought him so I'm hoping it wasn't too stressful for him.
I have a picture of his first day home, when he actually stayed still for a picture. He was no bigger than a nickel! Image

I know! I have a crab that was very pale and grey when ge first came and after just one molt his colors were brighter! It's so hard to resist getting a teeny/micro from the pet store I just keep thinking one more tiny crab wouldn't hurt
Also I caught Squirt exploring the new decor :))))))Image

He really is lol. He was the first crab to discover the moss pit in the cocohut, now it's a hermie hotspot

That lone shell is Dwebble. He always naps on the shell shop during the day. Sometimes he "hides on top of the other shellsImage

I have one that naps on the edge of the tank lid. She just climbs up there and naps. She's a molting at the moment but I swear it such a funny sight!

It sounds hilarious! In our old 20 gallon, almost every morning I would find one on the mesh lid! That isn't a problem anymore, because we have a much larger tank.

Thank goodness for this thread!! I saw it and thought I'd go check on the crabitat and report back. I walked into the room and first spotted Emma sitting on the lid of the tank then I saw the unnamed E hanging from the heat mat on the back. It was certainly a sight :P I guess they had climbed the plants and lifted the lid. Usually I put a few of my heaviest textbooks on top (not the most aesthetically pleasing but it works) but I forgot to after rearranging the tank earlier. After getting the two troublemakers back in the tank I checked to make sure the others were all still there. Hibiscus was not pleased to have her driftwood hideout disturbed :P

Of course it was only the E's. They're so silly!

Emma is now scaling the lid looking for a new escape route.

@CrabbyEmerson awww they can be such adorable troublemakers sometimes but we can never stay mad lol. I wonder why E's are particularly such misbehaved crabbies though
