Re: 125G with 40B topper!
I haven't done this. I always thought it was easier to add a topper.... Someone (can't remember who) setup a side by side tank a while back. They had to elevate one of them cause the tanks were two different heights. I'll have to do some digging and try and find it.robinwhiskers wrote:Any of you guys connected two tanks side by side?

@RobinWhiskers - I could never find the side by side tank. Funny thing is I can see it clear as day in my head but I don't remember the thread name or who posted it.

I'm not sure about the side by side tanks but I believe there is a HCA member who connected 2 tanks with some plastic tubing. Sorry, not much help!

Re: 125G with 40B topper!
It was two different size tanks. They were different heights. The person had to build a platform to lift the smaller tank so that it would be easier to cross over per say and to make it the same height. They had food and water in both tanks. Loved the way it was done; vet creative... I wish I can find it. Anyone else know or remember what I'm talking about??

I'm so very late but Curlz used acrylic tubing to attach two tanks together!
