Couldn't stay away

Post by Carlye.Purucker » Fri Mar 02, 2018 11:04 am

I was part of the forum about 5 years ago, then when buying a house had to adopt them out because I couldn't care for them. I recently decided I couldn't live without crabbies in my life! I just got 3 new crabbies, pps, over the weekend. They are still super scared so no pics yet, but I'll get some as soon as I can. The smallest one, Shenzi, was already making friends with my cat, Luna, the day I brought them home. I found Luna with her nose to the glass and Shenzi just hanging out on the other side wiggling her antenna at her hahaha I can't describe how happy it makes me to have them back in my life! Welcome Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed!

Yay, welcome back to the forum!

What's your setup like? Any pics of the tank? :D

I am going to get some pics of the tank tonight hopefully, I can post them then. I am not 100% done filling it because I am nervous about putting the foliage in before they molt for the first time. But that's really all I have left to do. Maybe one of them will be out exploring for the pictures.

The first is the tat from above, it's a 29 gal. The second is Shenzi, sorry about the glass, I didn't want to scare her so it's zoomed. The third one is Banzai, he is a gorgeous dark color! Ed is hiding in the moss pit still, I'm hoping he's ok and not suffering from post purchase syndrome. I've given them organic honey and cuttle bone along with freeze dried shrimp, boiled chicken, and raspberries to help them feel better.ImageImageImage

The tank looks great! Its a great way to start back into crabbing and slowly ease your way back in.

Congrats comming back to the hobby!
