Hi, I'm located in Arlington and can adopt your two hermies. We currently have a 15 gal tank with one small hermit crab.

Rockville/Bethesda MD

Hello, I'm in Maryland between Baltimore and DC and would ideally like to travel 45-60min, however I periodically travel up to northern NJ and down to Florida (with stops in-between). At the moment the crabitat is an oldschool 20gal Metaframe with ~4-5" substrate (EE/sand), cork wall, driftwood, occasional spiderplant, fresh and salt water dishes. I anticipate picking up a 40gal when I'm back in NJ this weekend (13/14 Jan 2018). Feed is a commercially made hermit crab mix including pellets, dried shrimp, worm castings and mealworms; supplemented with fresh fruit/veggies, egg and cuttlebone. My guy is a solo medium-large PP, had a friend but I suspect a bad molt (giving it a 4th month), had them both sine June 2014 and used to keep crabs as a kid/teenager. Ideally I'd like to adopt around similar size but am not strictly held by that idea. Feel free to message me here if you have any further questions or have any adoptees looking for a new home!

We have two crabs (small and medium) that we brought from Ocean City, MD last summer. They have grown a bit and have started to freak out our 7 year old. Moreover, we have just adopted a new dog and are finding it hard to manage both pets.
I have 2 bowls and few shells too.
