55 Gallon Upgrade

After 5 months of planning (and purchasing) we finally put together our upgrade! 6 months into crabbing and we’ve gone from 10 to 55! So excited... our two crabs are exploring everything. We still want to add more plants and a new lid is at the top of our list but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out!

That is super nice. I know how you must feel. I've had a 10gal for 2.5 years and just recently purchased a 40gal breeder(18x36) -not sure how your 55 compares, but, I haven't yet set mine up (still getting everything I need for inside it) and can't wait until it's ready. Do you have a link for your shower caddy especially the one on the right side that is deeper? I've looked at a lot of different ones (have a small one inside the 10 gal)

I believe I saw one similar at Walmart, as a corner caddy. If it’s the same one I saw! They also had a nice deep larger sized one, but I had to get the little size for the time being. I’m working on my new big tank too- it’s so fun, and I’m enjoying my build so far. Hope you do too- good luck!

Thank you everyone! we’ve been really enjoying the new tank this first week and watching our crabs explore. It took almost the entire week to figure out the humidity- stressful! I think I may need a bigger freshwater pool just for that extra boost
