Crabitat Update!

Post by PinchersAndShells » Fri Feb 22, 2019 12:36 am

I've done quite a few changes to the crabitat since my last update! New wood and I've been trying out some live plants! I've only had success with live moss so far. :D

Here's a picture of Dottie as an added bonus!

I tried a Neoregilia bromeliad but the crabs destroyed it pretty fast, the mood moss is doing well so far. I might try putting in a spider plant since I have quite a few offshoots from my big plant. I've put them in the water bowls before but I want to see how one would do if I actually planted it.

The mopani wood actually came with a 36" x 18" x 18" Exoterra that I bought from Craigslist, the tank was at a super low price so I bought it despite not being able to put anything in it for a few years. The cork bark and cholla I bought at my local reptile show, I like to pick out wood pieces in person.

Thank you to everyone else!!!
