Hello, I had a question regarding shells. I have two of them that all my hermit crabs seemed to obsess over in the past.
I want to get more of them based on how crazy they were over them, but I'm not sure what kind this is.
It has a D-shaped opening, has short spikes along the top edge and has a gradual decline at the bottom tip.
My guess is it's either a crown conch or a fox conch. Though I can't be sure. Any ideas on what kind these are?

Hello
Welcome to the HCA!
I would say it looks like a King Crown, but I can't be too sure. It's worn and the coloring is all gone. I will attach the Shell Guide. My guess is if you purchased some of the other preferred shells, those might become more sought after

Thank you so much! I did have several other kinds of shells for them. I had 2 turbos, 3 magpies, 3 Babylonians, and a shark eye. For whatever reason though they seemed to fight over this and the magpies a lot. I guess I'll find out this time around which shell is their favorite. >w<
