If you're really worried you cut it up but my crabbies are pretty small and seem to be eating just fine.

What is the safe temperature range?
The care guides say that pps can handle temperatures a bit higher then 85*F but how much higher?
I’ve got 4 ZooMed Repti heaters on it and my tank is 85.3*F.

I opened the tank to refresh the air and let some of the heat and humidity out (Humidity was high 80's when I opened tank).
Temperature was 81.7*F (humidity is 81%) at 6:46pm

It’s at 82*F right now and that’s with the heater I’ve got on short side left unplugged

My stuff from hermit crab patch has been shipped and it’s on its way here! Probably won’t come for few weeks though.
Might need to split up the rest of the stuff I’m thinking about getting probably later this year from there and Hermie kitchen. Forgot about the differences in Canada and USA $. I knew there was a difference didn’t realize how much there was.
