Our first molt!

Post by crabbycasey » Thu Jan 14, 2021 12:14 pm

Just wanted to officially share that we have had our very first successful molt! All of my crabs were under at once and I’ve only been crabbing since Sept 2020. Of course I stayed worried while they were all under there, but one of my smaller ones, Turbo, recently came up healthy and happy! He’s very light in color and in his same shell still. He’s up to his usual antics of dropping from one of his climbs into the pool...or literally sliding down the bubbler tube into the pool, lol. Wish I could post the video from my Wyze Cam bc it’s hilarious to watch...and he does it almost every night, crazy crab! Now I feel a little better about the other 4 that are still under. Here’s Turbo Image...

Omg yes. We just got done molting not that long ago and they're all buried again! So happy for you and Turbo.
