Can crabs have chaga?

Can crabs have chaga?

I have this stuff called chaga. It is extremely healthy for humans, it grows on trees (most common on birch). It is even known to kill cancer cells. Any way wondering if crabs can have it? It is completely natural.

I would be wary of it and not offer it. It is parasitic in nature and could overtake the tank.

There is absolutely no evidence that chaga 'kills cancer cells'. There are also no reputable studies that prove it is 'healthy' for humans; in fact, there have been no studies to determine safety or dosing. Please do not post unsubstantiated claims like that.

I agree with Jonathon, I would not offer it to crabs.

Chaga is edible for humans but has extremely high levels of oxalates. Boiling it as you would to make tea probably isn’t harmful but I wouldn’t offer raw or place live chaga in the tank.

I agree with Jonathon, I would not offer it to crabs.

My apologies. I just know most of where I have looked all I heard was good things about it. I have not done any actual deep digging on the subject though. Again, I apologize I will make sure I fact check everything now, I guess? Its just available to me, and know it grows on crab safe trees, and it is natural. As, I like to forage for the crabs in safe areas that have no chemicals. I haven't given it to them which is why I asked. :)
