Huge Crabitat Upgrade! :)

Post by Alexahunter10 » Wed Aug 25, 2021 6:45 pm

So I’ve been saving up to upgrade my Crabbies tank since I got them early July. I’m so excited. We are moving the 31st and I just finished setting up the new 40 gallon breeder I got for them. So they will be transitioning out of the 20 gallon they are in for the PPS Method and into their new Tank. If anyone has advice please let me know! :) Image

Never go backwards in crab conditions - if they have been in a tank with good temp, humidity, sub, etc - never go to one with less. Move your crabs directly from the one tank to the next.

I was wondering the best way to get them through the move. Didn’t know if I should just transport the tank I have with them in it or if I should move them to a carrier

The new tank looks great! You need to get the new tank up and running with a glass lid so the humidity and heat are the same as what they are in now. That will cause the least amount of stress for them.
