Two crabs underground for a while?

Post by smolmuffin » Fri Nov 12, 2021 3:31 pm

This might be nothing to worry about but given the death of a crab recently its been on my mind. Bean and a unnamed crab have been underground for weeks/months with the other one being down there since mid August.

Is waiting it out all I can do? I don't want to dig up and accidentally harm them.

I know Pistachio might miss his little buddy and for me Bean was quite lively. I loved the interactions between the two of them.

Yeah, waiting is pretty much all you can do. If a crab has passed away underground, it won't harm the other crabs, and there is nothing you can gain by digging it up. But if there are crabs underground who are molting, you could potentially harm them by digging them up.
