You can wait til tomorrow since you'll be changing stuff up anyway. That way the crabbies aren't being moved twice. Once you moisten the sub, you'll notice you don't have to mist as much, or even at all.

Here is the safe food list. Lots of goodies on there! My guys are partial to egg yolks lol.

(also, dechlorinated water is the same as primed water right? prime is just the brand?)

Yep, you can use RO water to wet the sub if you want. You just want regular spring or tap water for their bathing/drinking so they get the minerals from it.
Seachem Prime is the name of a dechlorinator/heavy metals detoxifier. It smells like sulfur, but works really well lol.

Wait, I thought regular tap water isn't good for them and that's why I need to use dechlorinated water?

Gotcha, that's what I thought you meant haha!
Okay so:
- I can use RO water to mist and moisten the sand
-Use primed water and instant ocean water for drinking/bathing

You got it. If you're using tap water to make your salt water mix, don't forget to add Prime to that too. 2-3 drops/gal of Prime works well. Don't panic if you add a little more than that. It won't hurt them.

Also, yet another question. I apologize again.
My current iso tank is the carrying case that I got from the shop I got my crabs from (the crappy gift shop at the beach) I just make sure to mist it and keep it in my room where the temp is the same, it's small but is that okay since I only have them in there for a little while?

Are the instructions of Prime on the box/bottle?

No worries at all!
If you're just going to be a couple of hours rearranging and doing the sub, it shouldn't hurt. If you want though, you could wrap the outside cage in saran wrap, and then mist the insides to keep it moist for them.
When I adopt crabs and have to transport them, I use a larger plastic zip lock container, put a really damp paper towel in the bottom, and pop the lid on. That works well too.
The instructions are on the bottle of Prime, but I believe it talks about using a capfu per 40 gal of water, or something like that, as its often used for fish aquariums.

Lol! I figured I'd save you a step with the 2-3 drops/gallon. Image
They'll def be good. No need to rush. You can add a moist paper towel to the container you have and that will work well too. I figure it just keeps 'em a little more comfy while they wait lol.

Haha yes! One more question though, this may be stupid but I keep my crabs in my room and I have a room spray I use from bath and body works, I just spray it on my bed sometimes to make my room smell better, would that be safe for them since they have a screen lid? Even though its wrapped in plastic wrap, it's still a concern I have.
