Re: glow in the dark stars??
I have heard of a person who put a glow in the dark realistic moon in their tank. So It would probably be fine as long as the stars are out of their reach. Maybe you could put them on the outside of the tank where they are still visible but they crabs can't rip them off or anything. Also make sure they aren't too bright, because the crabs need to know when it is day and night so it doesn't ruin their sleep cycle or anything like that. Maybe you could post a picture of the stars?
My three purple pinchers: Coconut- Male, medium. Mango- Female, medium. Blueberry- Female, small.

OoO I like the idea of giving them some "moonlight" and maybe if you put the stars behind the water dishes it will be kinda like bioluminescence?Serendipity wrote: ↑Sun Jul 23, 2023 1:26 pmI have heard of a person who put a glow in the dark realistic moon in their tank. Re: glow in the dark stars??
The light output on these would be so minimal I doubt it would cause an issue. I'd just ensure any glow in the dark objects are out of the tank, as the materials used as the majority have not been tested with animals - in particular, crustaceans.
